Nolvadex is an anti-estrogen. Its effect is stronger than that of Arimidex, another anti-estrogen. (When estrogen levels increase in the body, gynecomastia, increased water retention in the body, and increased body fat mass occur.)

Nolvadex also increases FSH and LH levels in the body when taken. This is the same effect as Clomid and cyclophenyl. Since an increase in LH promotes the production of testosterone in the body, it is said that administration of Nolvadex increases testosterone levels in the body. Therefore, taking it at the final stage of a cycle is effective. It is especially used after the end of a relatively weak steroid cycle such as Anavar, Winstrol, Primobolan, and Equipois. However, in the case of steroid cycles with strong androgenic effects such as testosterone steroids, Dianabol, and Anadrol, it is recommended to use HCG instead of Nolvadex after the cycle.
